How long each part lasts in Aptis General and Aptis Advanced, and how the result is reported. Straight from the official British Council format guides.
Aptis is not one exam but four variants. These are the timings of the two you are most likely to sit. Nothing here is our opinion: it comes from the official format overview.

Each skill gets a score from 0 to 50 and its own CEFR level. The Core (grammar and vocabulary) only gets a number, no level.
If you sit all four skills you also get an overall score out of 200 and an overall CEFR level. That overall level is not calculated from the score: it is the rounded average of your four skill levels.
This matters more than it looks. For the overall level the skills compensate each other — three B2s and one B1 still give you B2. But your certificate lists every skill separately, and many public-sector processes look at them one by one, where a single B1 can leave you out. Check which of the two your application actually asks for.
